Today, Friday August 18, marks the day we celebrate the confirmation of our catholic pupils in 2017 at City Parents School Main Hall. Some of the pupils were also renewing their baptism promises.

The Mass started at midday and was presided over by Msgr. Charles Kasibante who represented Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.

During his Sermon, Mrsgr. Charles Kasibante congratulated those that were receiving the Eucharist for the very first time (Holy Communion), that they find it as a very special moment because they are receiving the body of Christ.

Msgr. Charles Kasibante also thanked the catechist for preparing the children well. He also advised the pupils to continue growing in faith even after making the final commitment of confirmation.

During the renewal of Baptism promises, Msgr. Charles Kasibante encouraged the children and the congregation to always pray the rosary and dedicate our lives to Mother Mary.

In his final remarks, Msgr. Charles Kasibante advised parents to always buy the right catholic bible so that the children do not miss out on the important books which may not be included in other bibles.

He also thanked the choir, parents, school administration for the preparations they made.
